Battle of the Bands, All Day Pancakes, Bed Races, Artisans/Vendors, Horse and Wagon Rides, Wood Carvers, FlapJack Race, Chainsaw Competition, Maple Syrup, Sugar Bush Tours, midway,  Outdoor Entertainment,

 

 

Freemasons and Legion members bring you all day pancakes dripping with maple syrup while the Firefighters will be offering sausage on a bun and hamburgers. Midway rides by Gable Brothers and Maple syrup relief carving by the Haliburton woodcarvers are just a few of the events you won't want to miss.

Kathy - I didn't know that Sunderland has a maple syrup festival.  I have, however, been to a wedding in Sunderland a number of years ago.

That's an excllent post of local interest. I suppose if they ever had that sort of thing in Mississauga, it must have been 50 years ago.

Brian - We all need to take time to smell the roses ..... We all need to get out of the office once in a while ..... take time to look around your neighbourhood ..... it's sometimes hard to see what is close to home ..... Mississauga's was during spring break
